HY Long/Short senior Analyst/PM

We are an independent team of analysts covering the special situation, distressed and event-driven space based in London.  

Sarria cater primarily to the buy-side, a position that dictates our mindset, analysis and work ethic. We aim to build the first centralised buy-side team for the European High Yield and Special Opportunities market. 

With that in mind we are looking for a HY Long/Short senior Analyst/PM.  

You must be a highly effective team player who can take responsibility for the production and maintenance of fundamental corporate HY analysis in the secondary market.  Your tasks will include but not limited to, close multi faceted interaction with the existing analyst team, identifying new opportunities and the running of a paper portfolio through which you will express your convictions and demonstrate your performance.  

The scope of your work will encompass industry and company analysis, financial modelling, valuation, legal analysis, risk sensitivities and identifying suitability and high-conviction investment theses for your portfolio.  

You will be facing company management teams, hedge funds, advisors, law firms, banks and insurance companies and other investment teams who are typically specialising in this area.
