AMS Osram - comment

AMS Osram have completed the disposal of their Clay Paky entertainment lighting business to ARRI AG. This is inline with AMS Osram’s strategy for divestment of non-core assets following the acquisition of Osram and allows AMS to focus on its core segments. No price has been mentioned but this divestment was one of the 5 disposals announced during 2022. The 5 disposals totalled c. €550m of proceeds, with €465m already received at year-end. Therefore, this disposal plus Digital Systems Eurasia, alighting modules LED driver combined is c. €80m in proceeds. The other disposal is expected to close in H1 2023.
