ASDA - comment

ASDA is targeting to finish the implementation of its IT separation from Walmart by mid-February 2025. January will be a busy month for ASDA as it has delayed the rollout to larger stores until after the critical Christmas shopping period. On the recent results call, management was reluctant to commit to a date, but there is a target. The IT sharing with Walmart was due to expire at the end of 2024; a modest extension will keep any additional costs in the £10m - £15m range in our estimates.
