Ocado - comment

The £200m from AutoStore is welcome cash for Ocado. The settlement of all outstanding patent claims is also a positive for Ocado. Despite winning the previous court battles, litigation is a lottery, but settling all the patent disputes removes the risk of further problems down the line. Ocado can continue rolling out its Tech Solutions business. AutoStore will licence certain technology from Ocado and continue to sell its products.
